Full Description
NC76SE 10 7959 6239.
At NC 7959 6239 in marshy ground close by a stream is a kidney-shaped burnt mound overgrown with peat. It measures 9m N-S by 8m N-S, and survives to 0.8m high. Some burnt friable stones are in the mound. The nearest hut circle is 100.0m to W (See NC76SE 6).
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 1 July 1977.
