Full Description
NC73NE 7 7853 3850.
At NC 7853 3850, in the west side of a slight hollow and in a neightbourhood of hut-circles (NC73NE 6), is a burnt mound. The mound, roughly circular in form and heather-covered, is about 10.5m diameter by 0.9m high with a crescentic depression in the S quarter, facing into the course of a sunken stream. Small pieces of heat-fragmented stone are exposed.
