NC72NE 8 788 264.
Depopulation consisting of building remains, banks and enclosures surrounded by an earth and stone bank. The buildings vary in size from about 7m by 3m to about 32m by 4m with walls up to 1.3m in height, A building at NC 7883 2648 incorporates a kiln.
Visited by OS 21 May 1961.
A township, comprising two unroofed buildings, an enclosure and what may be part of a ring-dyke, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet lxvi). Five unroofed buildings, seven enclosures, field walls and a ring-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
