Full Description
NC75NW 76 7051 5696.
At NC 7051 5696, on gentle W facing slope, and 10m from a hut circle, is a burnt mound. It is totally covered by peat and heather and measures 8.5m east-west by 7.5m by 0.6m high. A burn springs adjacent to the east side of the mound, turns and runs past the south side where there is the usual gap or depression in the mound. The contents of the mound are not visible.
Surveyed at 1:10000. Visited by OS (J B) 4 December 1977.
