Full Description
NC75NW 74 7172 5559.
At NC 7172 5559 below the steep west slopes of Strathnaver and beside a burn is a heather covered burnt mound. It is elongated and measures 9.0m north west-south east by 6.0m by 1.10m high. A content of friable stones is revealed in places. An area of field clearance heaps (NC75NW 22) occurs to the south of the mound.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 1 September 1978.
