Full Description
NC70SE 27 7598 0289.
NG 7598 0289. An oval hut measuring 11.0m NW-SE by 10.0m between wall centres. No entrance gap is evident.
Within the hut and partly overlaying the wall in the SE arc is a rectangular structure probably associated with the depopulated settlement just to the S.
To the N a curving wall closing onto the hut in the NW and E arcs, encloses a roughly oval area of 25.0m NNE-SSW by 20.0m. It appears contemporary with the hut but may be associated with the rectangular structure within the hut.
There are no obvious indications of contemporary cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
