Full Description
NC70SE 26 7558 0280.
NC 7558 0280. Set on an E-facing slope with no attempt at levelling, is an enclosure, irregular oval in shape, measuring 19.0m NW-SE by 18.0m between centres of a tumbled boulder wall about 1.0m thick. No entrance is evident. The enclosure appears to be of some antiquity, but its date and purpose is uncertain.
In the immediate vicinity are one or two stone clearance heaps of the type usually associated with hut circles, and vestiges of field walls. Surveyed at 1:10 000.
