NC64SE 60 691 432
On the W bank of the River Naver, some 750m S of Syre Church, is a long- house, 28.0m by 4.0m, within an associated enclosure. Five small subrectangular footings ranging in size from 9.0m by 3.5m to 4.5m by 3.0m lie on the hillside above the long-house. Small shallow pits and hollows in the area are probably associated. (cf. NC64SE 58,59). Visited by OS (JB) 7 August 1978.
A farmstead comprising one unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xliv). An unroofed building and a ring dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1992).
