Situated immediately SE of the hut circles (NC70NE 16) are the remains of six shielings, five being rectangular the other "oval-shaped",and a small circular structure 2.0m in diameter. They are outlined by a course of stones and vary in size from 9.0m by 3.0m to 3.0m by 2.5m.
Visited by OS (WDJ) 29 April 1964.
Five shielings can be recognised on the lower S edge of a field system (NC70NE 16).
