Full Description
NC75NW 91 7371 5874.
Situated some 95m W of where the Clachan Burn is joined by an unnamed stream, on a natural shelf in an E-facing slope is an amorphous structure of unknown type. It measures about 10m overall diameter bounded by a rickle of stones of irregular width and height; this does not appear to be the remains of a wall (as of a hut circle). Loose stones also occur in the interior. There is no evidence of nearby cultivation.
Visited by OS (NKB) 31 August 1977.
