Full Description

ND01NW 21 020 190.

Centred at ND 020 190 on a gentle W-facing slope is a settlement of three hut circles ('A'-'C').
'A' and 'B' are of similar construction and size; they measure internally 8m SW-NE by 7m and 8m in diameter respectively. Occasional inner facing stones are visible in 'A' whereas 'B' is less clearly defined.
'C' is larger and better defined; it measures internally 10m SW-NE by 8.5m with the wall spread to 2.5m. All huts have SW-facing entrances. The ground around the huts is of a generally stone-free nature, but there is no trace of clearance heaps or lynchets.
Surveyed at 1:10,560. Visited by OS (J B) 11 May 1976.
