Full Description
At ND 0212 1949 on a low spur is a solitary stone-walled hut circle within an associated minor field system. It measures 12m internal diameter within a wall spread to about 2m broad, but so obscured by peat growth that no structural details are visible. A break in the SSE arc indicates the entrance.
The field system occupying two hectares comprises scattered clearance heaps, occasional lynchets and a possible field bank which fringe the cleared areas, but no measurable plots are discernible.
Surveyed at 1:10 560. Visited by OS (N K B) 18 May 1976.
