Full Description
NC52NW 3 519 269.
The remains of two well-defined shieling bothies, 80m apart, the walls standing to a maximum height of 0.4m. The southernmost at NC 5200 2684, measured 9m N-S by 2.5m and has a small annexe on its west side. The other at NC 5197 2691 measures 11m by 2.5m and is divided into two compartments.
Visited by OS (JLD) 26 April 1961.
Two unroofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet lxiii). Three shieling-huts are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1992).
