Full Description
NC55NE 35 5919 5708.
A grass-covered stony mound on a W-facing slope, measuring about 24m E-W and about 20m transversely and about 2m high. Possibly artificial but more likely natural with outline accentuated by ploughing.
Visited by OS (ISS) 1 July 1971.
Recent road construction has truncated the mound on the E side. The exposed contents appear to be natural.
