OS 6"map, (1962)
Centred at NC 904 633, on a gentle west facing slope, are 3 hut circles ('A'-'C'). They are placed on dry rises among ground which is boggy in places.
'A' is 8.0m in diameter within a turf and heather covered wall spread to 2.5m and 0.4m high. The simple entrance, marked by opposing portal stones is in the south.
'B', also turf and heather covered, measures 11m north-south by 10m within a wall spread to 2.5m and 0.4m high. It is doubtful whether a small sub rectangular structure abutting the hut wall internally in the north is contemporary. It is marked by single stones and measures 1.6m across. Two heather covered circular annexes abut the wall externally, either side of the entrance in the south. The eastern example is the better preserved; it measures 2.5m in diameter within a low wall spread to 1.7m. The entrance is in the west. The other annexe is 4.0m in diameter within a poorly preserved wall. A vague entrance in the east opposes that of the other annexe. They are almost certainly contemporary with hut.
'C' is sub oval, 8m south east-north west by 7.5m internally. The wall is low and turf covered and spread to 1.5m wide in the north east, expanding round to the south west where it is heather covered, spread to 3.0m wide and 0.6m high. The entrance in the south is unusually wide at 3.5m. From the south side of the entrance a peat and heather covered stone bank 3.7m wide and 0.6m high extends for about 7.5m to the east south east.
Contemporary cultivation is marked by about a dozen clearance heaps in the vicinity of hut 'A'. Around 'B' there are a few isolated clearance heaps and occasional lynchets. A vaguely defined plot measures about 20m by 20m.
Surveyed at 1:10000.
