Full Description
There is an obscure turf-covered burnt mound measuring overall 13.5m N-S by 8.5m and up to 0.7m high. It is evident as two barely connected N and S mounds. Where exposed the mound's content is seen to be of burnt stone, black earth and fragments of charcoal. The E side of the mound faces into boggy ground.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J B) 8 October 1981.
