Full Description
NH69SW 43 6078 9339.
In an area of field clearance, there are remains of a cairn, consisting of a retaining circle, some 6.5m in diameter, enclosing a low mound of small stones.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (R L) 7 October 1979.
The cairn, which is 0.4m high, has a kerb of almost continuous blocks around the NE half, although some are slightly displaced; the kerb is visible only intermittently around the SW half. The centre may have been disturbed, with the stones then replaced; there is no evidence of a cist.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J B) 9 September 1980.
