A hut circle at Coille Bad Mheasain, Glen Loth.
NC91SW 21 9368 1338.
An oval hut circle was found during field investigation on a natural shelf on a west-facing hillside. It measures about 6m N-S by 4m within a low, peat-covered wall spread to 1.5m; there is no visible entrance. There are no signs of associated cultivation.
Surveyed at 1:10560. Visited by OS (J M) 15 January 1976.
The hut circle is just about visible in vertical aerial photographs. <1>
