Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by AOC Archaeology Group on 9.5ha of ground subject to redevelopment at Coishletter, Edinbane, Isle of Skye. The evaluation covered a 5% sample of the total area. Machine excavated trial trenching revealed re-deposited archaeological material within a natural alluvial gully as well as evidence of rig and furrow cultivation in the form of a small hill-side lazy-bed. <1>
