Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned by Gunn MacPhee & Associates Ltd on behalf of Mr & Mrs Fraser in March 2004 to undertake an archaeological watching brief at Loch Achilty, Achilty by Contin (centred at NH 439/568) as part of a housing development. Highland Council Archaeology Unit produced a specification for this work. Work revealed no archaeological deposits or features to the area of the house plot and associated access road; though a previously unrecorded possible enclosure was noted close to the area of development. <1>
